"Is the market place for Property Investment Advice operating efficiently and in a way that adequately addresses the neeeds and interests of consumers and retails investors?"Ministerial Council on Consumer Affairs, Queensland, August 2004.

PIAA is vitally interested in investors being given professional property investment advice. It is also very concerned that the proposed regulation and legislation will hamper normal industry activities.

PIAA is seeking to steward an industry proposal for compliance, regulation and accreditation for the provision of property investment advice.

Property Investment advice is a hot topic. Imagine a multi billion dollar industry in Australia with no regulation and no educational requirements.

This is an opportunity for ethical business to differentiate itself by joining a voluntary code of conduct and seeking to create a robust solution that considers industry needs and investors' needs.

Come along and give weight to the proposal.
